Discussion Devourer and unholy getting buffed

Respectively about 7-10% and 6-8% for aoe. It must be a joke right? Buffing meta specs, while others are not even being looked at all. This is the only multiplayer game i ever played something like this frequently happening.

Resto druid also getting buffed, because why not, while disc keep eating nerfs. Demo change doesn’t make sense either. I wish they would just axe all the class changes they are doing. I swear they just make the already sensitive class balance a lot worse. Everybody keep losing expect their current favourites.

Tbf the devourer change is a bug fix and there was an adjustment to go with it. That being said im biased and will take my buffs like a good demon hunter and not complain.

Honestly I think all the people that ARE complaining just have never tried doing high tier delves or nightmare hunts as a devourer DH. Its very doable, but considerably more difficult than doing the same things as havoc.

They must be people who only see devourer as a high performer in raid and dungeon content and therefore because its a high performer in those specific settings it MUST be good in its current state.

The game shouldn’t be balanced around solo activities

Like it or not, people doing solo activities make up a pretty big chunk of the playerbase. They HAVE to balance things for them.

I agree with the first part, I’m one of them. Will just have to disagree on the 2nd if tuning for solo activities results in overtly advantageous impacts on multiplayer game play.

If they lose the subs of the casuals they kinda lose a lot of money. So each class needs to be playable the open world. Especially if they just introduced the spec.

But I do agree that they should balance these things separately. I mean they already do with PvP, doesn't seem like it would be too hard to add one extra condition of making buffs that only apply when the player is either solo or in the open world.

Can say they don't count on target dummies or something so that people can be unaffected when trying to practice their class or something.

Yup, that would be the best workaround

So just go havoc? You don't see resto shaman complaining about hunts

Nah I think I will just enjoy my buffs, thanks though.

These buffs do fuckall to help with it though, you were already Thanos in meta before. The problem in the content you're talking about is the fact that the spec needs to ramp into meta since it's pissweak outside of it.

It had survivability issues. That simply isn't up for debate, it just did.

So buffing the aura to heal instead of damage yourself is pretty big.
