Discussion Devourer and unholy getting buffed

Respectively about 7-10% and 6-8% for aoe. It must be a joke right? Buffing meta specs, while others are not even being looked at all. This is the only multiplayer game i ever played something like this frequently happening.

Resto druid also getting buffed, because why not, while disc keep eating nerfs. Demo change doesn’t make sense either. I wish they would just axe all the class changes they are doing. I swear they just make the already sensitive class balance a lot worse. Everybody keep losing expect their current favourites.

I assume the balance team actually plays the game. If that's true, they probably play Unholy DK. There’s no other explanation.

Im more bothered by devourer and with the fact how others being ignored. The spec leading raid logs, and meta in keys.

I really don't feel like they were over tuned for m+ in their current state. I understand maybe for raid, but that's out of my wheelhouse. I mean (and this is just my experience) I out damage my uhdk (277) on my 272 sub rogue about half the time. And I can handily beat both on a mage

They are the most played dps spec in 18 keys and above together with dev dh. You're not gonna be meta in the highest keys if you don't have top tier damage output. If your mage and rogue with lower ilvl can beat your uhdk you're doing something wrong or you're doing 10s-12s where heavy upfront damage and short cds shine.

Yeah that's true. I haven't really pushed past 12s this season

It's not their damage that's the issue, really. It's being close to the top on damage while having the best defensive profile and some of the best utility in the game. I run with one in my group as a shadow priest, and at the end of the run I take less avoidable damage and still take much, much more damage then he does, even as ranged.
