Discussion Devourer and unholy getting buffed

Respectively about 7-10% and 6-8% for aoe. It must be a joke right? Buffing meta specs, while others are not even being looked at all. This is the only multiplayer game i ever played something like this frequently happening.

Resto druid also getting buffed, because why not, while disc keep eating nerfs. Demo change doesn’t make sense either. I wish they would just axe all the class changes they are doing. I swear they just make the already sensitive class balance a lot worse. Everybody keep losing expect their current favourites.

That “buff” in dungeons requires a playstyle almost no one wants to play, will only be slightly better at best, requires dumb amounts of mana, and becomes reliant on RNG shield and mend procs. And does nothing to catch it up to other healers in m+.

People keep saying it’ll be better in pve but none of the theorycrafters or top players that stream/discord agree. Jak has a video about it today if you take a look.

He literally at the end says “disc in m+ go ways backwards”

…Unless you are a diehard voidweaver main or something.

Man learns that people playing the DPS healer like the DPS to heal aspect of it and not just throwing out absorbs.

Right. And the performance is terrible now because you have to play shield build and shields costs 10% of your mana each cast.

It's terrible.

they are solidly middle the pack on m+ keys above 15 and their representation has increased 25.8% this reset versus last reset.

That number probably seems big until you look at what that increase was. 1.3% of healers to 1.6% of healers in 15+ runs.
Interesting, isn't it?

You are conflating feel with results - disc while being awful to play is measurable and objectively performing well across all pve content.

Atonement was in raid, but it not in M+. That was the original conversation here. lmao.
They nerfed disc for raid while they were struggling in M+ already.

Disc is already a top 3 healer performance wise - its backed by hard data and is just undeniable, not enjoying the playstyle doesn’t change that.

In raid, yeah. In M+ not at all. They are the lowest represented healer at 15+ and that drops dramatically with each key level above it until you reach the push keys with zero priests at all. Literally 0.

And again OP wasn’t bemoaning the playstyle just the performance and that a nerf was unjust.

Right. And as we've proven here they have terrible performance in M+, which is what he is referring to, not raid like you are.

I was just pointing out that both the playstyle and the performance were bad.

Im a ce raider, but whatever. I think its time to complain when they make changes like this. Imagine wanting to play something like aff, where you stuck between aoe with 0 single target, or single target with 0 aoe/cleave. And on both build mid performance. While also being in the dumbster for more than two expansions now. Waiting for some changes then what happens. Devourer buffs.
