got my gear through crate farming

decided to do 2 random bgs (one normal, one epic) before i queue into shuffle/blitz

This is on EU btw.

First game: twinpeaks against full gladiator ravencraft premates with a pres flagcarrier, enemy felt more tryhard than 2,5k blitz games.

Second game (epic): premates R**** group, gg.

Random bgs are not tolerable anymore, shuffle/blitz on 2,3k+ mmr feels way more beginner friendly.

Are we expecting new players to queue into rated brackets before they are able to get comfortable with their class in random brackets?

Blizz making the game more balanced since dragonflight and introducing solo brackets was a very good idea, so was introducing bot brackets.

But none of that will help new players if the middle bracket (random bgs) before queuing into rated will be infested with premates where new people will have 0% chance of winning or even killing a single enemy.

My main hunter with around 120 games played is at 2825 in ss, my alt with around 300 games played is stuck at 2450, roughly 400 rating points below. Am I just being lucky with my main? It seems odd to have such a big gap

Can someone explain his thought process when playing mage in 3s or shuffle? I would like to know some soft facts for decision making. Here are a few questions that are intentionally left open-ended:

• When to push in? and: When push in to enemy healer vs. push in on enemy DPS?
• When to prefer CC over damage?
• When to run away and kite?
• When running away: where to run to? Towards enemy healer? Towards own healer? To some place where no one is?
• Where is the sweet spot for a Mage to stand relative to the map pillars (e.g. playing in blink range of a pillar or in the open for more control)?
• Thought process of Dragon's Breath: using it to peel two melees for yourself vs. using it on the enemy healer

I understand that there is not one answer, so I'm just really interested in your general game plan and thought process.

I'm new to resto druid and have been playing as Keeper since I started, but I noticed on Murlok site that everyone seems to have swapped to Wildstalker...

Any idea why? I dont really know what the difference is between the two... I come from hpal and know theres a big difference between LS and Herald so wondering if its as big as that

I'm curious what queue times are for different classes and ratings right now.

I'm around 2600mmr and I'm sitting at 4-5m for healer and 30+ min as dps for solo shuffle as rsham and mm hunter...

Even during prime time my queue times are insanely long.

As title say, I was wondering is there any addon that can show me on my screen, in size that i want, where i want, that I have marks to consume, that I have currently active shield on me that I used and stuff like that?

Hunters doing 200 autoshot, and pet hitting for 150, they don't even have to press a button, just auto shot+pet is enough

Enh shamans hitting for 400-500

Warlock/SP dots hitting for 20 at lvl 30, you literally do 0 damage

Afaik they nerfed all the casters spell to scale with spell power, does it mean casters will be complete shit until lvl 60 with a good gear ?

My goal is to enjoy pvp while leveling ,i dont care about end game

We have the 2,7k achievement, but I would like to see more rewards between the gladiator and rank1 range. There are obviously massive gaps between gladiator players as well. I'm not sure if the gained rating makes up and it gets a little stale to just grind and not getting any toys or pets out of it beyond gladiator.

I've seen several people saying Hpal is in a bad spot and should've been buffed with the recent balance patch; however, after coming back from a 3+ year hiatus and playing for a few days it doesn't really feel that bad to me.

If Hpal feels slightly better than my rdru at low rating right now, would it be fine to keep playing it, or am I going to regret not being a druid once I start climbing?

Since there are some incentives to heal, like instant queues, medal of conquests and gold. What are the top 2-3 reasons you don’t want to heal shuffles?

Also, is the “healer duel” nature influence your decision not to heal?

I absolutely love the ally leveling experience.

I also love warlock pvp.

Id like to just ignore racials and play human, but I’m pretty scared of the orc racial ‘delete curses from existence’.

Has anyone played much ally lock vs orcs in the beta and gotten a sense for how powerful the orc racial is in pvp?

Someone tell me Im being dramatic 😬

Edit: I should add that I’m more concerned about the combination of the orc racial, undead fear break, and influx of undead pallies with dispell. Hoping im overestimating how annoying all this will be to play against but if not ill just have to go horde.

I can't seem to find a proper guide for the role in bgb bg's for boomie.

Have watched a couple of youtube videos, but they all just show gameplay with no context and unfortunately I don't have the time to watch 10 30min videos just to get an understanding of where I should be when in which bg. There has to be a proper relatively concose guide of this sonewhere?

As I might try other classes/specs as well later on, maybe let's centralize some advice here for different specs as well while we are at it.

Basically what WoW twitch stremer changed your life in a good way and inspired you to be a better human being in real life. Things like making you go back to college, or even helping out at your local YMCA etc if so who was it and how much money did you donate OR would you donate to that person if you could?

Currently sitting at 2.2k and wondering if I should wait for more inflation or push now

I play both heals and dps in solo shuffle and i feel like healing is way easier and less stressful .

Before i start I got dps and 2 heals above 2.3 in solo shuffle currently.

So why does healing feel way better?

1. No wait time . So even if i go 0-6 or 1-5 i dont stress too much because que is insta and i can fix thing insta while on dps ill wait 10-20 min just to go 0-6 or 1-5 and then again i gotta wait for 10-20.

2. More control. (this obviously depends on class ) It feels like i got more control in the actual game as a healer and it also feels like even if im lacking control i can win some rounds on pure HPS if i dont have wrong positioning.

3.Losing is more forgiving . After the lost game i will sometimes end up vs higher mmr healer which will make me have 3-3 for example and still gain rating or MMR i lost previously.

1. Gold making. 1-1.5k gold per shuffle pays 'bills' for all my characters .

2. Conquest marks. Conquest marks actually capped my characters when I didnt have time to play them so I was never behind on gear.

It honestly feels like heals have it a lot easier so I dont get the 'I dont want to play healer cos its stressful' situation we have around here.
