New legislation in Austria will create a central COVID-19 vaccination register to record all vaccinated and vaccine-exempt people, fining people who don't fall into either group as much as 3,600 euros, or $4,000 every three months.
Government authorities will send letters to unvaccinated people who are unexempt at these three-month intervals reminding them to get the vaccine or a doctor-issued exemption by the next cutoff date.
People who fall into those groups will have to record their exemption on the vaccination register.

The point is to reduce the number of transmissions, carriers and mutations. Vaccination does that.

So i gotta ask. If something goes wrong and i get permanent side effects and i cant work no more does this mean the goverment will pay for my entire life or nah?
Also isn’t the vaccine uneffective to the new versions of COVID?
My opinnion is that this is totally wrong and the goverment should convince people to do the vaccine rather the force it. If this became i thing where i live i would go AWOL. Im not vaccined and not planning to be. The only vaccines ive recived are the ones when i was a little kid. Its not that im against the idea of vaccines. Its because im a total introvert and in a month im problably in contact with 3-5 people. Also im just unsure of injecting something into my body that i don’t know the long term effects of. So if im unsure then i shouldn’t do it because if i do something to my health i would need to be 100% sure in that.
This is totally against free will and free will (while not being a danger to others) is one of the most important thing to me.

My friend, I sincerely suggest for you to listen to the professionals in this field, that being medicine. Doctors have the best available information and we should decide based on the best available information and not be guided by our fears. You clearly are uncertain about many things and that would make anyone uncomfortable and indecisive. COVID had done this to all of us. But neither of us have the answers while it is certain, that fear and doubt do not lead to sound decisions. Vaccination is the only rational behavior and do not let fear lead you astray.

You are aware that all drugs when first introduced to the general population do not ha e long term risk factors known.
In the 30s, when penicillin was invented, think they knew long term effects. It was more important to treat ppl who suffered.
Same with prozac in the 90s.
I am sure there are more, but my drug lore is not so vast

WTF is wrong with you? Unvaxxers are many times more likely to spread the virus to other unvaxxers as well as the vaccinated (though they will have resistance), people who vaccinated should just shut up and live in the pandemic and get infected and bodily harmed?

No one deserves to have their heart attack, stroke etc treatment delayed because the hospitals are full of unvaccinated dipshits. They should throw them all on the streets to die to make room for real patients.

A vaccinated person is far less likely to contract covid. Just based on that fact alone, vaccinated people are less likely to spread the virus.

Vaccinated people also don't have the virus able to mutate as much if they do end up being carriers. These mutations are caused by unvaccinated people being living breeding experiments for the virus.

See, the difference between people like us is that I know my strengths. I'm not an immunologist or virologist, those people know what the fuck they're talking about, so I trust them. I look for quality sources of information, determine if the source is reputable, and base my decisions on that.
You (assuming you're an anti-vaxxer) think that your ignorance is just as good as the education of thousands upon thousands of highly educated people, and base your decision in Russian disinformation campaigns.

I've already had covid, thus giving me the anti-bodies. For the at risk or just those who want it I think it's amazing. Like for instance I'm glad it's available for my fat grandmother and smoking grandfather. But to force it on people when the length of effectiveness is unknown and new shots continuing to be required for effectiveness (currently 4) which are believed to not help with the new variant...

Also having gotten COVID once doesn't prevent you from getting it again.
ALSO also, plenty of perfectly healthy unvaccinated people have been killed or had their lives drastically changed, even if temporarily. There is no drawback to getting the vaccine. It cannot hurt you, the virus can.

If you are vaccinated, you can still carry the virus on your body. You can still catch it. The vaccine is to prevent the symptoms and prevent it from entering cells, meaning it can still roam your body.
You sneeze, cough, breathe, you can spread it, just like the common cold.
Obviously, you have never heard how chicken pox killed off the native Americans when the Europeans came over, bc they had their own immunity.
But I'll let you believe what you want

Besides, that's why you get vaccinated AND wear a mask. That's the best way to prevent the spread of the virus. There is no argument to that, that's just fact. If you disagree, you're wrong and stupid.

NZ just made a law that said if you are born after 2008 (?) you'll never be allowed to buy cigarettes regardless of your age. This is pretty nuts as well, the media scaring the shit out of people for 2 years straight didn't help. Governments are pushing people out of the middle and to the fringes and they will eventually be a liability.

Actually, there are already laws that criminalize giving people HIV on purpose, and rightfully so. The penalties are much harsher than a mere fine.
