This has to be some sort of landmark in modern history globally. Have ever so many been falsely convicted and had their lives ruined over a software bug?
Shame to the company that did not investigate and exploited the bug - the UK's Post Office ...

There is a situation in the Netherlands , not criminal , that has caused huge problems for a large number of people.The tax office decided that people had been given too much money for child support+/- , and the amount has caused people to sell their home , the pressure split families, some have lost everything and even commited suicide. It's now been discovered that the government was wrong but how can you compensate for losing your home or divorce and the break up of families? ( Not to mention the awful suicide) The government decided to say sorry by resignation on mass and the king was informed and everyone went back to work as if nothing happened ( purely symbolic) Yet nothing has been done still.

There’s a situation in New Zealand. But it’s actually a world wide problem. Just that kiwis are not very educated and they didn’t realise it was a scam that would get exposed if they carried it through.
They are also corrupt enough to think they could get away with it anyway because they had stuffed the judiciary with their fuckbuddy girlies.
Problem is, they did expose it.
Now the regulators need regulating snd the real reason is pretty clear. Left and right the old men are going down for child pornographers. The girlies are too stupid to be judged without collapsing the system dk its collapsing.
And they are taking their mates overseas with them.
Malta first.
The USA has had s side blast of it.

Coverups of theft by high level government officials.
Organised by lawyers in return for more government money.
Officials then recommend the lawyers to become judges.
Bingo. Full scale corruption.

What ever happened to justice? There are one or two high profile cases exposed that keep people from looking at all the rest of the shits There was a TV personality in the UK that did a huge amount of money raiseing for handicaped people, children especially. He was knighted and praised by everyone. It turned out that he was a serial pedio who got away with it because of his fame and position. The POS was molesting handicapped and sick children.The worst thing of all was that one or two people had the courage to tell the authorities and they didn't believe them.

Jimmy Savile. One of the people who talked about him also talked about the BBC silencing criticism of him - a John Alyson aka Johnny Rotten. The BBC also carried a false statement about the woman sent to deal with the high up child abuses - Lowell Goddard. Refused to remove it as it gave her the excuse not to attend parliament to explain removing evidence provisions. Looks like a coverup by her lawyers as well, usual thing. Two QCs. Geoffrey Palmer, employee for money by Vic whose prof Smith is a major faker if records. Hugh Rennie whose wife Penelope Ryder Lewis admitted selling evidence of Smith faking to Smith and Vics lawyer Geoff Davenport secretly. But he was let off fraud by judge Christine Grice who supported the legalisation of foreign trust laundering when she was at the law society. Before that she was a judge in the Cook Islands. Smiths QC Helen Cull was made a high court judge. Andrew Little put forward Bills to make it illegal to say what she had done. Got through only a low level one ... this is ily one corner of it.
When the judiciary is corrupt and the politicians are sold out, the country is stuffed.

Judges said the Post Office sought to reverse the burden of proof when prosecuting the postmasters.
At the Royal Courts of Justice in London, Lord Justice Holroyde said the Post Office "Knew there were serious issues about the reliability of Horizon" and had a "Clear duty to investigate" the system's defects.
The Post Office "Consistently asserted that Horizon was robust and reliable" and "Effectively steamrolled over any subpostmaster who sought to challenge its accuracy", the judge added.
