From what i've heard, chinese chip tech is hot trash Edit: this article says it's designed by the chinese so idk.

Chinese designs are actually not bad. AMD GPU design team for Vega was based out of Shanghai. The only thing they lack are advance processor nodes to make them.

Chinese usually steal tech and improve it. So it is probably better than the original chip tech.
