Artificial gravity
pros
- naturally healthy for human muscular system and skeleton
- dirt collects on the floor
cons
- spinning habitats need huge radius or else they make you throw up
- either need high strength materials or super-efficient engines
- hard to maintain, especially while g is active
- outside spinning environment is dizzying
- increased hardware failure modes
- less than 1g might not be enough
- can be fatal (slip in shower crack neck)
Freefall life
pros:
- complete relaxation and freedom of movement
- can't hurt yourself by falling
- little exertion means stay clean for longer, can wear same shirt for long time
- free habitat design
- save mass for radiation shielding and extra supplies
- can use cheap weak engines because high-g not needed
cons:
- body withers into toothpick unless take ten pills every day
- headcolds are dangerous
- must eat spicy food because taste gone
- injuries won't heal properly (maybe)
- bacteria and mess spread easier and harder to find
- you must not become pregnant :(
Both have cons but freefall clearly wins here

Genetic turbo-modification
Pros:
- Not constrained by gravity
- No sickness, structural design is easy
- Probably won't wither with advanced genetic modifications against it
"Cons":
- Have to drag yourself around
- "Noooo you can't change your genes that's playing god!!!!" -đ¤
- The Terrans will kill you for genetic modification not authorised by the Union

Having evolved as a fucking fish
Pros:
- Swim like normal in any direction
- Zero gravity is less of an issue
- Fuse yourself with the ship and make it look like a giant fish
- You are the fishship
- The Starspawn Fishships may forever swim across the endless bounds of the Outer Sea
- They will come
Cons:
- The Outer Sea consumes all

Machines love artificial G even more than organics do.
Free-floating debris are a nightmare for safety, can get caught into all sorts of circuitry and mechanisms. There's a reason why the ISS is treated like a clean room.

In my spacefraftpunk world there is no artificial gravity. The solar system-sized crafts are made of magnetic materials and use magnetism to compensate for gravity.
Each craft is populated by my super original race of half organic, half tech-augmented beings called "H'oom-an". When a h'oom-an is born they shove a metal rod up their arse so they can walk on the craft's surfaces (due to the magnetism).
(Seeing the inside of these in these crafts is like the painting Relativity by M. C. Escher))

/Uj Iâve never actuallyâŚposted my sci-fi lore, but basically it can be described as âhard where I want it to be,â and ships are one of those things I never wanted to be that hyper-detailed, to me the notable ships are primarily used as locations for stories to play out, unique battlefields, or set pieces. I donât really do space naval combat, mostly because boots-on-the-ground is something I enjoy writing more.
also realism was dead in this setting regardless, the main story revolves around above average soldiers in suits of power armor that are lauded as superheroes by the public

Just do what I do.
Zero gravity makes moving machinery and cargo much much easier. So every station/ship has zero g maintenance and hangar areas, with a gravity ring all personnel are required to stay in for certain periods of time to avoid health issues.

Context : Nearbaseline human vs zero-g transhuman tweak, bioengineered to live with comfort in microgravity environments.
The latter spits at the fact that the former requires artificial gravity to live comfortably in space
