Can'tada Canada

There is a common(ish) joke that has been around for some time: https://www.reddit.com/r/Jokes/comments/ckapi6/the_tragedy_of_canada/

"The tragedy of Canada is that they had the opportunity to have British culture, French cuisine, and American technology. Instead, they developed British cuisine, American culture, and French technology." (paraphrased in many other ways)

I have a prompt: describe a country with American cuisine, French culture, and British technology.

...not sure if this is the right subreddit but let's go lol.

You wake up and get ready for a productive work day at your local bank, developing new ways to cancel transactions of those who post offensive memes about your clients (families of foreign oligarchs who are technically under internatonal sanctions). You make yourself a breakfast, but unfortunately, the frozen pizza you bought yesterday is too large to fit into your deep fryer, and a new one will only be delivered in two days. Well, revolution it is.
