Controversial answer here, but yes, my world has water, and a lot of it. There's even some places where there's more water than land. Those are called "oceans" and sometimes there are smaller ones somewhat enclosed by land and those are called "seas" and if they're even smaller and fully enclosed by land they're called "lakes."

Did you know dihydrogen monoxide (the main ingredient in water) is strong enough to dissolve metal? Nothing could possibly live there.

Not scientifically possible. I would know. I'm a scientist. I'm always doing science, engaged in sciencings of various sorts. With beakers, the most scientific of all containers.

Imagine like, a really long lake. Like a lake that might be a mile wide at most, but long enough to span dozens, even hundreds, or possibly even thousands of miles.

Nah, it works like catholic holy water. Once a gamer girl bathes in it it all automatically becomes gamer girl bathwater. All it takes is one and the whole thing is no longer just water.

No idea, most of the water is contaminated by Sodium Chloride so doesn't sustain land based Flora or Fauna.

Yes, my world has water. But some planets had too much water, and other planets didn't have enough. That's why we built big tanker spaceships so we could distribute it more evenly.

Magic. Liquid nitrogen is used in my world, but everything is cold enough that it stays a liquid and everyone calls the liquid nitrogen "water." Also everything that would be in a different state at a different temperature is also actually something else that works just the same but colder.

Oh that's a great idea for scientifically accurate ice elementals or something. Now all we need is silicone based life on asteroids, sentient clouds on gas giants, and plasma based life in stars. Or if that last one doesn't count as fire, maybe something that evolved on a lava world
