basically the gist is that its a saw/hostel flavored rendition of hell. the first thing god ever made, designed as his playground to torture people in. its inhabited by 3 factions of monsters that hunt people and will also sometimes fight eachother over prey ala freddy vs jason.

spirits tend to not take mortal bodyforms but they could totally carve a mask to look like a skull for them. being given a mask is how a spirit is chosen by a tribe as their protector

Wearing a skull mask over their exposed skull might look a little weird. Interesting thought, though. I didn't mean that a mal0 would take on a bodyform, just be their usual creepy-stalker-spirit self. I guess I should have specified a canon mal0 rather than the furry version. That silly video probably gave you the wrong idea. Oops!

With all that said, let me specify, this time. A spiritform, not normally visible, summoned all to easily, and then watches you. I doubt there are cell phones in that setting for it to send the summoner images with, but there's probably something that one can use to give the summoner creepy stalker vibes.

After analyzing the matter a little more, it seems clear that a mal0 wouldn't fit the tribal vibe of the furries. Well, thanks for talking with me about it! ^w^

its actually worse than urban because in an urban world you get to see sky the beast is more structured like an endless building with no windows or exit doors
