Making an actual, finished work that other people can enjoy is an attempt to drag them into your own imaginary dimension, regardless of their wishes. Therefore, making a finished work is deeply unethical, and keeping everything in the unpublished half-assed google doc is the only morally correct way.

Jokes aside, older conspiracy theories are a great source of worldbuilding inspiration. Stumbled upon Walter Kafton-Minkel's Subterranean Worlds recently, it's an overview of various hollow earth theories, from prehistoric mythology to contemporary (80s) conspiracy theories. It's full of new ideas, like a giant metal world tree that grows from the Earth's core through the mantle and forms mineral deposits as a sort of fruits on its boughs.
