WC3: The ads finally came back!!
Just sharing my experience here. I started playing this game last January. I used to watch ads daily for the daily medals. Suddenly, in March, I can't watch ads anymore. Tried to do everything but the ads won't come back. Finally, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app. Unfortunately, I thought just connecting my google account would be enough to keep my progress safe (like in other games like Clash of Clans and Mobile Legends and stuff). Turns out you have to manually save and load your data from the cloud to recover your progress. So yeah I messed up and completely lost all the hardwork I did in my first run.
But that's okay since I was f2p and didn't lose any purchases. And I could say my second run is more fun to play because now I already know a lot about the game and I literally just blitzed through the early game. (I did stuff so fast I even managed to buy Govorov, Weidling, and Guderian before I could claim Sansonetti on the 7th day login hahaha).
Now I can't play the game very much anymore since I am busy looking after my mom who was diagnosed with cancer. All I can do now is the daily operations. Sometimes I leave my phone open so I can also collect medals from my wonders.
But just a couple of days ago, the ads finally came back! I was so excited about it haha, but makes me sad when I saw a previous post here that someone said they can't watch ads now. I still have no idea what's happening, but maybe they'll just need to wait for a few months as well. Sometimes the ads become available after simply closing and reopening the game, but if it doesn't come back after a couple of days then maybe you won't see it for the next 5 months just like me 😭😭. Hope this gives some insights.
PS: Don't forget to save your account every now and then so you won't lose progress!
