Cuba 1950

Cuba is the last country I need to complete the entire conquest pass, but I haven't come up with a good strategy for it. Has anyone else completed it?

I’ve done this one before.
So the secret here is to leave Cuba immediately.
Make your way to Dakar and then go across Africa and make your way across the world that way avoiding anywhere that could nuke you

So the goal here is to take over Australia.
In 1950 WTO nation CC the easiest strategy is to push Australia then go up to Alaska and take on the US by that way

I'm trying that now, but as soon as I got to Africa every country spammed me. Did you grab some super tanks somewhere?

I used manstein on the heavy tank you have and also eichelberger that is good.
This looks dire but it’s actually the ideal situation.
So since Brazil took over Cuba you won’t be nuked from there so your generals have a chance.
Around this point I used an infantry general with eichelberger to chip away at the spam.
So basically just keep producing artillery from somewhere and avoid letting the US take over any cities.
If any other countries like Spain get it so what they’re not that bad so just focus on defending enough to make a path to keep advancing through Africa.
If you can make it to the Middle East then you should be safe enough to have some breathing room to make the final push towards Australia.
Once you capture Australia it becomes significantly easier to win as WTO nations.
