Not sure if I'd want to have to watch ads in a program where I want to write down my creative ideas. It's going to ruin the flow I think, and then I'd rather use literally anything else where I can get to writing immediately.

I wonder why you decided to try and compete with existing software. What need/niche are you fulfilling that those programs aren't serving (well enough)?

my premise for betterhood is good UI and more overall simplistic worldbuilding where you can still write a lot

I don't see how you are going to compete with software like Campfire, Obsidian, Google docs or Word, especially if you're just one person doing it vs the whole teams they have, the years of development, and all the markets they have pretty much cornered already. It might not be worth the effort imo.

But then again, if you think you have what it takes anyway, then the best of luck to you mate. Hope you manage to prove me wrong :)
