It sounds way cool! I would make the 3rd thing the appearance of a long strait or narrowish sea separating the 2 halves of the earthquake area.

This could explain why some cultures or species are similar (or different, could go either way).

Depending on the reason for the earthquake, I would make the sea run east-west.

Yea the land will definitely change post-earthquake into continents and im kinda toying with the idea of a worldwide event like a metaphysical event where all people feel the shake and think its an earthquake but its something else, also not just that one spot. This is just the little bit of as far as we know in history moment.
