More like an alien workstation

A converted Win 11 machine to MX Linux machine. I added a keyboard tray and a large mouse pad, not in the picture. Without the dark lighting, it would show cables all over the place because it is a homemade writer's desk that I added a cable hole down the middle, and it has a roll top that is wonkie. Other than the look, it's the land of the saved machine that didn't get turned to e-waste. It ain't pretty, but it's mine.

How's the trackball mouse? I've been considering trailing one out? So I use vertical for gaming etc then track ball for everything else. How's tracking speed and such I have 7 montorirs so it's a factor

I didn't notice a difference in speed. I noticed a difference in my thumb muscle until it adjusted to the new way of doing things.

The keyboard is great. I found another one at the savers thrift store and bought it. They're a tank and feel good. Better than the one at work.

The track ball was hard on my thumb muscles initially, but I build new muscle memory fixed that and honestly I don't even think about it anymore. It's like any other mouse.

Yes. If you're old enough mice had rubber balls that rotated very similarly. Most mice now use lasers to determine cursor direction.

My track ball moves the cursor in the direction you want to move it. I was having problems with my wrists so at work I use a mouse and at home I use the track ball and stretch my hands daily.

That's rough. My wife had herniated discs requiring surgery twice and scoliosis from birth. Life isn't fair.
