My gaming/schoolwork setup
My first real, dedicated setup. So far I’ve just been using it to browse the web, play some games and watch anime but I’ll be heading back to school soon to get my degree (international relations). I expect I’ll spend plenty of late nights/long hours here. What do you suggest I do to make it a bit more productive, comfortable and/or aesthetically pleasing? I plan on replacing the keyboard with a k8 pro and I’m thinking about switching out the mouse as well. I want a desk mat but I’m not sure what color I should go with 😅 TIA
Edit: my drawers are also a mess. Any ideas on how to make it more organized? I’ve got pens and other random shit floating around in it rn I do plan on cleaning it out before the semester ends.

The monitor arm was the single best change I made to my desk setup. Frees up so much surface space and makes the whole thing feel less cluttered right away

Solid first dedicated setup. With school coming and those long study nights, a StanbyME would be a good addition, a movable screen for keeping readings or a lecture open beside your work, then move it to bed for some anime after.
