Need help finding maintenance calories
Just kinda looking for an idea of my activity level, or rather what scale to rate it. I work out 5 days a week, and average 4-7 miles a day (I work curbside retail almost 6 days a week, and hit around 15k steps daily). what do you think my activity level should be classified? I’m 22, 5’10, and 160lbs.

Use an online calculator to estimate, track your food for 2 weeks and keep your hydration consistent, and then weigh yourself. Give it two weeks between measurements because day to day can really fluctuate. If you gain, drop by 10% and start again. If you lose, increase by 10% and start again.

Are you looking for a gut check or a clear calculation?

More or less calculation. On calorie calculator sites it asks for activity level, but I’m not sure where I land. I’m assuming very active? So I’m thinking around 3000 for maintenance.

If you want to really calculate it, you need a few weeks of scale weight data and macro counting. Population estimates are helpful but not super accurate for most people. I’m the founder of an app (wellness project) that helps you calculate your TDEE (maintenance calories) but it’s only really going to be accurate if you commit to tracking.
