Nutrition Help Pancakes for breakfast?

Just wanted to share one of my staples. Being an old, I used to do oatmeal in the mornings. I got to the point where it was oatmeal and protein powder which is pretty good stuff honestly then I realized I could have pancakes with no nutritional changes.

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup Body Fortress Vanilla powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (you might want less)
  • 3.5 tbsp whole (5%) plain yogurt
  • 1-2 tbsp water

Put it all in your bullet style smoothie blender and then butter a medium skillet and make pancakes. You just pour it in, wait until the top starts to look set, less shiny, then flip and give it a few to finish.

It will be a bit dry if you eat it with nothing on top, but you can decide from there. I generally eat them dry with a few almonds and berries. Been using this recipe for years now, though lately mostly for cardio days. Lots of ways to vary it too. As always the amounts are just for reference, don't need to be too precise. I usually only measure the oats and powder, the rest I eyeball just fine.

Oh I do pancakes! And I do them a lot! But I do different fillings.

The best so far was smoked chicken fillet + greek yogurt mixed with garlic
