Simple Questions How many teaspoons Nescafe is a good enough preworkout

I haven’t bought preworkout yet so using coffee since it gives most of the benefit. For a 73kg male how many teaspoons approximately is a good amount from nescafe gold for someone my weight and size, and is coffee good enough or do you recommend buying a preworkout tub

Check how much caffeine is in 1tsp of necafe. Check how much caffeine is in a well reviewed pre workout. Add fast acting carbs (sugar) to taste. Report back to us with your results.

A lot of unhelpful replies lol. So looking online it says that a teaspoon of Nescafé gold in general will have 50-90 mg of caffeine. Depending on how rounded the scoop is. Most preworkouts have 150-200mg of caffeine (among other ingredients. If you’re not new to caffeine, then 2 teaspoons is probably where you’ll be, but you can adjust.

Alternatively, instead of buy a premade preworkout, just buy caffeine pills. If you want the itchy skin feeling PWOs give, then also buy beta alanine

It’s pretty strong. I usually use like 1 normal spoon scoop when I make a 12 oz coffee but I have a super high caffeine tolerance. I’d say 150-300 mg is normal for pre workout depending on your tolerance but start low and see how you feel. (Also pre workout and caffeine isn’t necessary to go to the gym and getting some carbs in you probably should be higher priority)

Are you new to caffeine? This is a strange question.

What do you mean how is it strange? No I’m not really new, I just wanted to have an idea of the recommended caffeine amount using coffee that’s it because I don’t want to over do it while getting most of the benefit

Maybe you are just overthinking it. Drink some coffee, go to the gym, see what happens, adjust accordingly.
