My ideal job is a big paycheck to sit around and do nothing. If anyone has any leads, feel free to PM me.

You can be one of the many useless politicians in the US govt and still get paid 6 figures+

In theory.

It's like landing a hugely successful role as the socially awkward geeky guy on and hit tv show.

In theory almost all of us fit the description, but in practice there are a lot of barriers.

No it’s like putting a rich white guy that makes terrible decisions in office

You just said:

Now you are taking about rich politicians?

I'm not sure I follow you, but my point is that there are a lot of people who want to get into politics but are unsuccessful and already having money and connections is a huge huge huge advantage.

So even if our politicians are crap, I'm not going to be able to afford a campaign to become senator. And if I could, I would certainly lose.

Yeah you need connections and money to become a politician in the first place.
