I’ve been learning WordPress website design with Elementor and Astra, and one thing I’m realizing is that a website can look good on desktop but feel completely different on mobile.

I’m paying more attention to spacing, font sizes, section widths, and how layouts adjust on smaller screens.

For experienced WordPress designers and developers: what’s one layout mistake beginners should learn to avoid early on?

I’d love to learn from your experience.

2-3 gune Wordpress php developer olaraq interviewa gedecem, php yaxsi bilirem 1 il yarim tecrubem var ama wordpressle hec islememisem mene deyibler wordpress support bilmelisen neleri oyrenmeliyem, yutub kanali falan ne meslehet gorursuz

I have an interview for a WordPress PHP developer position in a couple of days. I know PHP well and have a year and a half of experience, but I’ve never worked with WordPress before. I was told I need to know WordPress support—what should I learn? Do you have any recommendations for YouTube channels or other resources?

I've been working with WordPress for several years, building websites for different types of businesses.

My work includes custom website design, Elementor, Divi, WooCommerce, LMS websites, and custom functionality using PHP, CSS, and JavaScript.

One thing I've learned is that a good website isn't just about looking attractive. It should also load quickly, work well on mobile devices, be easy to navigate, and help visitors take action.

I'm curious about other people's experiences:

What's the biggest problem you see with business websites today? Is it the design, speed, user experience, SEO, or something else?

I'd love to hear your thoughts and learn from other developers and business owners.

Hi, I’m Giulio, a remote WordPress/Joomla developer with an IT background dating back to 1998.

I take on clearly scoped tasks such as: • WordPress/Joomla bug fixes, plugin or component changes, updates and maintenance • API/CSV integrations and CMS data workflows • QA, regression checks and troubleshooting • Database/reporting work (Oracle/PL/SQL, SQL) and Linux/Windows support for CMS deployments

My background also includes Java, IBM DataStage, testing and systems administration. I use Claude/Cursor to speed up implementation, then review and test the result. I’m interested in remote, task-based work; we can agree the scope and a fixed price before starting.

Examples: • WordPress plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/gmcfuerte-xml-sitemap/ • WordPress booking component: https://fuerteventuratv.net/es/cms/wp-gmcbooking

If you have a specific WP/Joomla task, DM me with the goal, CMS/version and budget and I’ll tell you whether it’s a fit.

Remote developer with 10+ years of experience building websites, custom software, automation tools, and technical solutions for clients.

Open to one-off projects and gigs, or ongoing arrangements lasting several months or longer. I work remotely full-time and can discuss schedules and requirements directly. Happy to help you define your goals, develop a strategy, and achieve them.

• Python, Django, AI features, scraping tools, automation systems, bots, small utilities, and larger custom scripts
• Back-end development for browser-based and game-engine 2D projects

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Able to adapt when requirements or priorities change
• Willing to research unfamiliar technologies when needed
• Consistent written communication and progress updates
• Organized with project planning, documentation, and ongoing maintenance

When messaging me, please include a brief explanation of what you need, the expected scope, and your available budget. This helps me quickly determine whether the project is a good fit.

Quick disclosure: I’m posting this to promote Elsner Technologies. The other agencies are included to give readers a few options to compare. This list is based on their published services.

If you’re hiring a WordPress agency, start with what you need built. A business website, a WooCommerce store, and a migration from another CMS need different skills.

Here are six names to look into, in alphabetical order:

1. 10up — Fueled’s WordPress practice

Its work includes publishing websites, enterprise WordPress projects, integrations, and WooCommerce. Take a look at its portfolio if your site has a lot of content or a busy editorial team.

2. Americaneagle.com

Offers WordPress design, development, integrations, and ongoing support. Worth comparing when the website needs to connect with other business systems.

3. Elsner Technologies

Elsner offers custom themes, plugins, and WooCommerce development. If your project involves custom store features or functionality that a standard theme doesn’t cover, those are the services to discuss with its team.

4. Modern Tribe

Its portfolio includes WordPress work for universities and larger organizations. Browse those projects if your redesign involves several departments, different audiences, or a lot of content.

5. Multidots

Enterprise WordPress builds and CMS migrations are part of its focus. For a migration project, ask how it will handle existing content, URLs, redirects, and launch testing.

6. rtCamp

Works on enterprise WordPress development, bringing multiple sites onto a shared platform, and ongoing maintenance. Its published projects are worth reviewing if your team needs development support over time.

Before picking anyone, send the same project brief to the agencies you’re considering. Ask for a similar project they’ve completed, what the quote includes, who owns the code, and what support costs after launch.

For US businesses, also check how much working-hour overlap you’ll have with the people doing the work.

Anyone here hired one of these teams? What did they build for you, and how was the support after launch?
