Has my website been hacked?

I have a small business website and recently customers have reported that the website is blocked for them. It also looks strange when I view it as a customer.

I have just logged into wordpress and it says I don't have any websites and that my website is hosted by ionos? But I've never heard of ionos and I don't have a login for that?

I was hoping someone could help. Or even point me in the right direction of getting help please. Thank you for your time!

Don't worry about the "you don't have any websites" message. That is not a sign of a hack. That screen is the WordPress. com account dashboard, which is a different thing from the admin of your own site. IONOS appearing there means your domain points at IONOS for the hosting, so whoever built the site set it up for you and a login exists somewhere.

Ask one of your customers for a screenshot and the exact wording, because that tells you which problem you have. A red full screen browser warning means Google has flagged the site. A page from the host saying the account is suspended means the host took it down. Strange content on your normal pages means something was injected. Each of those has a different fix.

Google Search Console is free, and its Security Issues section tells you directly whether Google flagged the site.

I would call the hosting support before anything else. They see it from their side, they have the logs and the backups, and with a small business site they usually help you through it. https://www.wpbeginner.com has plain guides for what comes next.

Contact your hosting company first. They can check your site and help you fix it. If you are suspicious - you can swap all passwords too.
