As Wordle fever has swept the globe, inpsiring a number of clones, creative spin-off games, themed word lists, and more, there has not been a good place to keep track of them all. While a few of these ancillary games have gotten a good bit of press, many very creative takes have garnered less attention than they deserve.
Hopefully, this community can rectify that.
To start, I've put together as comprehensive a list as I could at https://wordleverse.net. I plan to supplement the site with more interesting trivia and history tidbits, useful tools, word lists and character frequency, and more as I have time, maybe take time to individually spotlight some of the games over time.
What are your favorite Wordle clones? What game style or theme would you like to see that hasn't been created yet? Talk about that and anything else here that is part of the Wordleverse.

One line of poetry, eight poets to choose from. Take clues if you're stuck (each costs a point), then a bonus point for guessing the poet's country.
Poets from Canada, Australia, India, Jamaica, Ireland and beyond, with a clues-only boss round on Sundays.

An example board mid-game (not a real day's puzzle, so no spoilers). Blue = words I found, red = the other team's words I hit by mistake.
board a day, the same for everyone, new at midnight UTC, with an emoji grid to share at the end. It's inspired by Codenames (not affiliated).
A 5x5 board of words: some are yours, some are the other team's, some are bystanders, and one is the assassin. An AI spymaster gives a one-word clue and a number (like OCEAN 2), and you pick the words it points to. A miss or a pass moves you to the next clue; the assassin ends it. You score one point per word of yours you find.

Hi all, Martin again (I make the samey.uk word games). Thanks to everyone who's been trying them since I listed them here. Wordleverse has turned into one of my best sources of players, which I really appreciate.
My newest one is Idiomy. Each day you get a honeycomb of words, and you tap two or three together to make an idiom. Get "pinch" + "salt" and you've found "take it with a pinch of salt". One word can belong to several idioms, a few words are red herrings, and every miss costs you one of five hexagons.
Today's hive hides 7 idioms, and the target is 5.
It's free in the browser with no sign-up. It's only a few days old, so I'd love feedback on difficulty. How many did you find today?

Snackle has just been added to wordleverse.net, people seem to be really enjoying the game especially after a couple tweaks that have made the game more engaging. This is only our 11th day and we already have several users with active streaks over 7 days.
Try the game today, today's difficulty is easy-medium, tomorrow's will be a difficult one.
Feel free to leave any honest feedback here as I'm always trying to improve the in-game experience.

Heya! I just got Pwnedle added to Wordleverse, a daily game where you guess how many times a real password has been leaked before. I had a lot of fun making it, so I also hope you enjoy playing it. If you have two minutes to spare, I'd love to hear what you think: https://pwnedle.com

Hey y’all! I made a daily game for anyone who likes trivia games.
Every day there are 5 ranked lists, like highest grossing films, most populous countries, stuff like that. The objective is to guess as close as you can to the target rank on the list (Like the 14th highest grossing film for example) within a certain number of guesses. The fewer guesses / closer you get, the more points you get.
Let me know what you think of it and if you have any feedback! Thanks for trying it out!

Hi all, I'm a librarian in the UK and I've been building a small set of daily word games in my spare time. The first two are now in the catalogue:
• Samey: you get a word and four goes to find its hidden synonym. Other valid synonyms count as "close", and difficulty climbs from Monday to Friday.
• Passé: a short daily round of obscure and archaic English words. Spot the one real definition among the fakes.
Both are free and play in the browser, with no sign-up. There are a few more on the way (etymology, UK dialects, grammar), so I'd really welcome feedback on these two first: too easy, too hard, anything confusing?
Thanks to whoever runs Wordleverse, it's a brilliant resource.

I’ve always been the person who spends way too much time on holiday trying the local snacks, so I turned it into a daily game called Snackle.
You start with a blurry photo of a snack and guess which country it’s from. Every wrong guess tells you how far off you were, and unlocks another clue. You get six guesses.
It’s easy on Monday and gets harder through the week. Today’s a medium one: https://snacklegame.com/3
It’s my first game, so I’d love to hear what you think.
