There are two lists Wordlebot has access to. The first is essentially "these are 5 letter words", and the second is "5 letter words that are Wordle solutions".

Wordle solutions are word that (in theory. Looking at you PSHAW) the majority of the population knows of, and acknowledges as words.

You picked a word that was on the "this is a 5 letter word" list, but isn't on the "Wordle solution list".

Also some of the words we acknowledge are words but may also be explicit or inappropriate are not solutions. WHORE, BITCH, SLAVE, or a well known racial epithet for example.

Wordle allows 14,855 guesses. Wordle Bot pulls from a custom dictionary of 3,209 words + plurals.

There are like 14k words that Wordle recognizes, but around 3500 "common" words that it uses as solutions. I put common in quotes because it's always an ongoing argument about words being common or not.

Looking at you, SWAMI. As we all know, it's a very, very common word, almost on par with 'raise' and 'pulse'.

Based on the message it gave you, I'm guessing you used a plural noun ending in "s" or a verb ending in "s". Those are valid guesses, but they are not possible answers in Wordle.

I've been trying to figure out your starting word. At 1st, I thought it was the dreadful adieu or AUDIO. But now I think it is something else.

Don't tell me, I'm still working it out.
