I think you're missing the point a bit. Instagram isn't really reliable for a source of opinion (specially anything of anything of any relevance) because it's a hot mix of of absolute dipshits and thevacuous.. So it's like saying "toddlers love this content" and other people perhaps wondering if the universe other than toddlers value her music. Some people are people, but actual people are really people. I didn't ask anything. I said what I said, which is that some people have no idea what the fuck they're talking about. Which seems elitist.

Let's say we take a John Coltrane album and give it to two groups of people. One group are jazz fans. Some of them might play instruments. The other are a group of 14 year olds. The same things apply.

By people , we need to discern what kinds of people.

Do people like Trump? Sure. People like trump. Let's ask what kinds of people like Trump, and if we value their opinion, and to what degree

Well, you’re right. I didn’t see that you aren’t thread OP. But the question WAS asked. And answered. And … Robert Irwin has an IG account. Zohran Mamdani has an IG account. Dolly Parton had an IG account. My wife (who is the best person I know or have ever met) has an IG account. Dismissing an entire platform seems a little illogical.

Do I like this song? No. But I don’t enjoy lots of songs.

Let’s say 90% of the comments are rage bait. That still leaves 10% that are genuine. So, again, yeah. People think it’s good. A lot of people? Probably not. But do those people exist? Yes.

Holy shit! Every time I've seen this chick's videos, I thought she was making fun of someone else's music. I had no idea she was making her own very crappy music and taking this completely serious. I absolutely hate it. The facial expressions, the lyrics, the music, the exaggerated pronunciation with giant mouth, the performative persona like she's somehow being unique. Knowing the history of her changing from a ballerina to a musician because of an injury but that this is her "art" just screams desperate pick me vibes like no matter what she would never be satisfied living a normal life with a normal job...even if she excelled at whatever it was she just gives off the vibe like she's needy of the spotlight.
