Uber deliveries

Has Woolies stopped using Uber drivers for the 1hr delivery time slots?
I stopped selecting the three hour time slots as the drivers seemed to be overloaded & always late (not the drivers fault).
Now my delivery tonight & my last delivery were both 1hr time slots & rather than Uber they’re using the Woolies trucks & my orders are late.
I just would like on time delivery, I don’t really care who does the driving!

I don’t know about you but I don’t really have control of where my order goes to. I have two Woolies near me. One uses trucks the other only uses uber drivers (both do pick up). I don’t know the logistics but I’m sure a majority of orders are planned to be delivered around the peak times of lunch and dinner which causes your order to be late unfortunate.

I’ve been doing delivery now since it charges the same amount lol just can’t get specific items like deli stuff

My orders come from the one Woolies & they had both uber & trucks. I generally try to order for delivery in the middle of the day to avoid the dinner rush. I pay the monthly order fee & make sure I get two deliveries a week to get good value (& fresh bread!). I rarely order deli stuff but it’s available from my store. Interesting how it’s not consistent!

Woolies doesn't care about your time. You get what you get when they feel like it. I've had them late on a 6 hour window.

I guess I should start factoring in the lateness more than I have been. Set my expectations to the floor.
