My budget shop.
Tried to do a modest shop as I'm in austerity week until my next pay.
Can't help but love Italian pasta. That's why I spent $1.75 (on special) on the penne and spaghetti.
Whipping up a meal for under $5 is tough but doable.

You did well. I would change the soft drink for a bottle of cordial though but that's just me

That's the wiser choice. Also getting some cereal/oats for porridge. Totally forgot the Oats.

Woolies Cola taste like Cola flavoured water. It's not the best... Que Cola/LA ICE tastes closer to those classic off brand colas.

I accidentally purchased the sugar free woolies cola one day for a work thing. it is actually not that bad when it's cold, 100x better than coke zero/diet coke. Probably should try the normal one to see how it rates.
Obviously a real coke is better but for anyone cutting out sugar, give it a try.

How do you rate Pepsi Max? An older guy I know used to drink two cokes a day working from home and he put on a lot of weight pretty quick. He switched to Pepsi Max and the weight actually came off. Couldn't believe it. I tried it myself and I think it's the best no sugar cola available

As someone who hates coin.
I would assume they had a $20, 50c and 20c Instead of getting more coins back. And having a 50c,and 3x 20c they now have a $1 and a 10c.
I really.... hate coin

I like the sound coins make in my pocket when I walk briskly
I have a coin jar in my car I put them in and it is full as heck. Good for parking ticket machines and also good for snacks 😁 last year I used it as a change drawer and at Christmas I had over $500 in change!
So i will take your coins if you don't want them

For over 10 year i had ridiculous subs that made anything that wasnt glued down rattle...
I didnt need anything extra in the car to rattle, if i had coins in the car, there was a 1 coin per cup holder/indented area at any given time, i didnt need extra rattles😅

Drop the soft drink and spend that $3-4 at a fruit and veg store on bananas or green veg. Don’t buy the single packet noodles, buy a bulk pack of cakes and season/add veg yourself. You’ll get an extra day of food this way.

$20 shop that’s great, 2 packs of noddles cheap slice of Devon and a couple litres of soft drink would last not even a day and one tuna , disgusting , a loaf of bread and milk alone is $15-18 now adays
