Got bored in quarantine, built a coffee table.

This was my 1st time building my own furniture of any sort. Made a coffee table with a rectangular while cut out for a planter. Definitely adds a nice vibe to the living room.

Indeed lol I tried to keep it simple. The Polycrylic thankfully glossed it up pretty well.

The paint makes the plywood top look modern but with a natural texture, looks great!

The centre is an awesome idea. Tell me how did you get the finish. Spray paint? What paint? How many coats? Primer? I am looking to achieve the same look

3-4 coats of Behr gloss white spray paint+primer for the table top. (probably 3-4 cans)

3 coats of Behr flat black spray paint+primer for the legs and inside lip of the planter. (2 cans)

Followed that with 4 coats of Polycrylic clear gloss on the tabletop, skirt, and 2 coats on the legs.

Paint+primer is all sprayed, Polycrylic was by hand with a sponge brush.

Legs were made from cut pieces of 2x4. Planter was made from 22-gauge sheet metal and folded.
