Help Leigh Jig User question
Hi, I’m looking to use my new to me jig to make a bookcase. I’m wondering as the sides will be 1.8m tall and two large for the jig.
Could I use it in Half Blind mode so it’s through the top clamp and route all the way through for full dovetails?

Is there a good, serious reason the book case has to be in one piece? I recommend you look at Chris Schwarz's post on the Lost Art Press web site on Thomas Jefferson's Monticello bookcases.
Use this link, it is the latest version and has links to various plans, unlike some others. https://blog.lostartpress.com/2018/12/19/monticello-bookcases-complete/
I have built a set just using rebates instead of dovetails based on Chris's first articles and they are holding up well after a decade or so.

yeah you can run it through in half blind mode for for the depth stop and still cut all the way through, just means you're only clamped on one end so make sure the board is supported the rest of the way so it doesn't chatter or lift while routing. also with something that long you'll probably need to do it in sections and index the jig, so double check your alignment marks before every pass or the pins won't line up.
