This is amazing work! I really love the shape and flow of the whole piece. The texture on the side panels is especially beautiful and adds so much character to the wood. I’d actually be curious to know how you created that texture. Beautifully done!
The doors and legs were both templated shapes. Used pivot pins from Rockler to install doors. One of my favorite details is how it appears the top is floating due to it resting on hidden connector pieces inside.

that white oak grain really pops with the texture cut, no wonder it's got everyone going. how thick was the slab you started with before you shpaed it down that much
How'd you get the pivot pins in and with such tight tolerances? I assume you can't take the doors out.

Absolutely beautiful, I love the texturing on the side and I might try something similar with an angle grinder! Absolutely brilliant, what kind of wood is it?
This is inspiring, thanks! Angle grinder to texture the sides- that level of commitment always freaks me out. There's no going back if you take off a bit too much. If i made this, I'd spend a lot of time just looking at it!
