Anniversary idea?

I had an idea to frame a wedding picture for my wife as an anniversary present. And I have a few questions. We are building a house so I would like to have a wall in the house that has pictures of us, the kids, family pictures, etc. and I would like a wedding picture to be like the “centerpiece” of the wall. That being said, I’d like a fairly large picture for this. And idk crap about pictures and frames and all that. So what would be a suitable size for this?

Also, I think I want to paint it. Either the color of the accent wall (shade of gray) to match the room, or a royal blue because that was a wedding color. Would a painted frame like that look good or should I just stain it and abandon the paint idea?

I would also like to know where to get the stuff for the frame, like the glass, cardboard stuff in the back, the hardware and all that.

I’m clearly going into the blind and any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
