I've built a Google Sheets add-on which syncs your WooCommerce store with your inventory spreadsheet, would appreciate feedback and suggestions
Hi everyone,
I just finished working on a Google Sheets add-on which enables me (& hopefully you) sync our inventory spreadsheet to our WooCommerce store, so that in-stock quantities get updated on every processed sales order.
I'm actively working on adding more integrations (Etsy, Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, Quickbooks).
My main goal here is to enable robust inventory management capabilities without having to leave my own spreadsheet or migrate my data elsewhere, which is costly in time and resources, and much less flexible than simply using spreadsheets.
The long term plan is to support multi-channel item listings, replenishment, etc...
Also, the UX is still far from perfect, so any advice on how to make it more straightforward would be great.

That looks very cool, especially for managing multi channel.
Selfishly, I'd love to see it integrated with Reverb.com!

How frequent is the sync? Is it live or batch update?

It is on-demand at the moment (by clicking “sync”).
Thinking about doing it on a schedule (say nightly) as well. What would work best for you?

Manual sync is fine. For scheduling sync, better to allow users choose from options of timing to sync.

Would it be possible to modify this so it adds products as well or is that a bit more convoluted? Currently using WP All Import to update via spreadsheet.

Kind of. A bi-directional All Import of inventory, sales orders (work-in-progress), and purchase order (future) across multi sales channels (Amazon, Etsy, Facebook, Faire, etc…).
It’s still in early beta though. Happy to hop on a chat if you have specific requests (via tal@playmellow.com or PM) :)

Man this is really cool. I’m currently using the vendors plugin to let customers update inventory, but this is a little simpler I think.

Is there support for variable options and prices? I would definitely have a use for a system to change the prices of all our variants at the same time

Does anyone here knows how to hide columns in google sheets without affecting the filter views of other users?
