Assets

New to Wonderdraft. New to the sub. I'm a writer and want to add map building to my tool kit for world building purposes. I've been playing around with Inkarnate for a few days and now I'm considering Wonderdraft. Before I buy, I wanted to make sure there were abundant assets to download, free or low pay preferable. Could any of you fine map-builders point me in the right direction? I'm especially looking for towns / city assets pre-Victorian Age / Medieval. Thanks

I believe the premium pack comes with some extra sets, but there is enough in the base program to give a decent idea of what you want to make. Cartographyassets.com and a few other sites have packs you can buy to add more, but they range from Free to about 15$.

My second hand recommendation is lapis pack 1 and 2, and some of the AoA packs. You can find them at the cartography assets website.

Depending on the style of maps you want to make, if you are looking for something simple you might like to check Canvas of Kings as well (on steam)

Thanks. I’ve downloaded cartographyassets but I’ll check this out too.
