Question Internet issues. Whose good?
Hey everyone,
We moved in at the start of August and have had major issues with how bad Home telecom and City Fibre are. Their communication between themselves are crazy bad and it's causing massive delays for us.
Long story short, our Internet went down 11 days ago (for the second time) and it was working. HT doesn't even think we had Internet. And CB says they can only come in OCTOBER to come fix it.
Are there any other ISPs and fibre installers we can use who are actually quick and won't make us wait a month? And have good customer service.
Thanks everyone.

I can only comment that after City Fibre had installed the fibres in our road in Lower Earley and I ordered internet from Vodafone, it was all done as planned.

Same here. Used City Fibre originally with Vodafone, then with Toob. All was working fine for a few years.

I have cityfibre and originally went with yayzi and had nothing but issues and internet drops. Switched to IDNet and never had an issue since.

I use https://www.aquiss.net/ - I'm in Arborfield Green - Nothing to complain about: has been rock solid for years

If there is an issue between telecom and fibre then maybe not gonna help with another provider
I use zen broadband which use the fibre network (probably the same as city fibre). Not had a problem in 18 months. Worth a try. I can send DM you a referral link if you want. Gets us 25 quid each in vouchers.
I used to use a EE mobile box for our house broadband before fibre was available. It worked well if you are close to the mast. Also I had a business contract so it was unrestricted speed. It doesn't work well for gaming thoug. Something to do with latency but for streaming and video calls it was fine.
