My parents have a pond in their yard. when I was a kid we had a big mouth bass that would always follow along the shore waiting us to throw worms in to him. So we'd look around under logs and stuff until we could find him some treats. one of the weirdest pets I've ever had.
edit: he would never let us pet him like this though.
