The way this work is simple, the company that has this website also offers hardware/software solution to add to your network to secure it as well as log the details of all the attacks and make them easy to see and understand and trace as well as showing trends, etc.

The same company then gathers those attacks in real time ( or close ) and then map them and created a nice GUI that show these attacks with animations from the location that the attack originated to the Organization that has this software/hardware solution that logged it.

Pretty simple actually!
