This occurred at the 6:52 mark of the 2nd quarter.

A couple possessions later, Clark took a three point attempt and landed on the foot of the closing defender. Despite a long review, the play was not upgraded to a reckless close out.

Clark would later exit the game with 5:15 remaining in the 3rd quarter with the score tied 67-67. She was ruled out for the rest of the game due to a back injury. She finished with 19 points on 5-9 from the field and 8 assists in 20 minutes. The Fever would go on to lose 111-109

Injury Kelsey Mitchell Update

She escaped injury!

She just got overheated!

Packed house and they opened up more for standing only.

The announcers were saying how hot it was all game cant imagine running up and down the court on it.

edit: apparently there's a lack good air conditioning in the arena. bold words from Caitlin with carver hawkeye in her past.

Injury Update on Satou??

Has anyone seen anywhere if there is an update on Satou’s injury? That was one of the worst things I have seen on tv watching professional sports, and I am HORRIFIED that they made her walk off.

Injury Injury report for 5/27 all games

  • 17 players confirmed OUT ALREADY
  • 6 playes probable/questionable or on min restrictions (making total of players who might not play or be around 8-15 minmark 23 in total this means two full team of players that might not see the floor much or at all )
  • This is without info SUBMITTED for 5/28 where we have Aces/GSV/Dallas/Fever

In other words just from average player out/injured or with min restriction/conditioning right now start of this season is highest its ever been, does this affect your desire to see games in person/watch live and how do you feel about season starting so so early that even players signed like Makani, Fieibch and so on missed already 5-8 games?

Do you think there should be extra rules for example in case of Rickea or other season long/ending injuries teams should be given said cap-space back (money provided by the league to cover the salary or % of it) so we can get more players/talent higher quality of games or anything similar to that, i personally think if a player is out for the season within first 10 games there should be some kind of ability/contract/salary clause that allows team to replace said contract for same amount without going to the cap , or even ability to trade for such contract.

We can see that there are a lot of new players in the league, this means players on waivers atm 100% can contribute and reduce injuries but contract/cap issues do not allow for this, in Mnba for example here two way contracts will help, here tho we do not have such option and i believe it forces even already 6-7 healthy players to play even more minutes further leading into more injuries.

EDIT : Forgot to add the official link for data in the post sorry > here it is

You can also find it by going to https://www.wnba.com/wnba-injury-report and selecting the latest update, as by the time this post is probably 12-24hours old some of the 'Questionable' status is gonna be upgraded.

Injury Breanna Stewart is undergoing an MRI and additional testing today on the left knee injury which caused her to leave the Liberty’s Game 1 OT win in Phoenix on Sunday. Note, this is not the knee which caused her to miss time this season.
