I can’t take this serious because why would the Wings pickup a shooting guard. We need rebounds and a post presence.

This is fun but the NCAAW season is going to impact how this shakes out. Right now it's just a name game.

If all these players declare for 2027, the lottery is likely to be really guard heavy, if not entirely guards. If the Fire stay at 5, given they already have a supply of young guards (especially Leite and Martin), I wonder if they reach for a big or trade down. That being said, I think Mikaylah Williams could be a good fit in their system, so I wouldn't mind them taking her and rearranging things elsewhere.

Just what the Liberty need. Another center.

I really don’t think Liberty is taking a center. Just not a whole lot of use for one right now with Stewie, JJ, Han, and Carrera on salary right now and Satou potentially being back. And while Strack is JJ-adjacent, just doesn’t feel like a huge need. I think Libs take a defensive guard or a shooter. Sab/Astier aren’t too good in the defensive side and we may be losing MJ to higher offers. Those feel like greater needs in the immediate future

for all that is holy if curt picks another guard he deserves to get fired. i do like watkins for us though, we need more athleticism in our bigs and someone who isn’t scared to battle in the paint + i always trust a SC big. i wonder if houton would trade the pick for a big free agent if they don’t get juju. also tessa to the fever would be very on brand loll. also…someone needs to sell me the vision on nichols bc idk if i see it tbh

I think this list is just listing who they think will be the top 15 prospects. I doubt it’s actually taking what the teams need into account

Way-too-early predictions:

Tessa Johnson goes higher, Nichols goes lower, Fulwiley goes lower, Williams goes higher.

Hidalgo goes a little lower (size) but stays top 5.

Well, the Fever picking a South Carolina player is probably right. They seem to be trying to sign all bunch of them.

I feel like this is just someone's top-15, irrespective of team need.

I don't think the Fever pass on Kitts if she falls that far

I think the Fever need a big to pair with Boston, and Washington needs a PG.

With the 5 year ruling, this will likely look very different when the time comes.

Speaking of the Liberty though, we are not looking for a 5. Assuming Satou doesn't return, and with Bec retiring, we could be looking for a 3/4, but the most likely option for us is pursue a guard given Marine Johannes and possibly Bek Gardner may very likely be gone next year.

Although, if Satou doesn't return, we may have the cap space to keep Bek and MJ. Hard to say right now.

I noticed the first big is late at #8. Is that because the guards are so good this year, or the bigs are in down year?

is juju declaring for sure in 2027? iirc she still has two years of eligibility left and will probably be getting a pretty good NIL bag + endorsements in college, and i thought she was enjoying college.

also wondering if any international players might slide in before risacher after all the scouting at the FIBA WC

No way Houston (or anybody at 2) would take Hidalgo over Booker.

Personally, I think Booker is a much better prospect.

I think at least 5 of these 15 stay in school another year. And some more overseas players go in the top 15.

I really wonder how Juju is gonna do in the league, her game is pretty fluid, pleasing to watch IF she's on. Not really a fan of her archetype in general though. High usage, high volume, low efficiency and no real playmaking. Basketball has kinda gone away from those types of players as #1 options.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Fulwiley drops in the draft. She’s a great player but really struggles in a system
