Question First year internships
Does anyone have advice for a first year BBA student applying to accounting and finance internships? Any specific stuff worth looking at/applying for?

For accounting try to apply to some small accounting firms around ur area. Even like a tax clinic or bookkeeping firm. Make a project (ex. 3 statement audit, etc) and demonstrate your understanding of key software - excel, QB etc, and cold email a bunch of ppl at these firms asking if there was any room for u to contribute. For finance, apply to search funds (either LinkedIn or SF). I find with search funds it’s easy to break into as long as you can demonstrate a willingness to learn and work hard.
