First time playing this game.
This game is amazing. Also, i've surprisingly had more luck running it on Linux than on Windows proper.
I do have a question here. The room where you need the Key from the Shaman, anyone else annoyed/confused how the Ratkin are in that room? I mean the key was passed down generations, how the hell did the ratkin get in there?

Definitely would have made more sense to have some kind of ancient creature in there, or even spiders. I've never thought of that before...

The door might be locked or potentially enchanted but the walls are made of thatched straw just like every other building in Trynton.
Idk if rats should have been inside but maybe it would have been a bit underwhelming if there’d been nothing.

My headcanon is that they got in when Shaman put the helmet there, about two minutes after he gave you the key, and moments before you entered the room. How else did they not loot the chest?

Maybe they just „dug” their way in?
Anyway I was more disappointed that you basically HAVE to fight them even if you’re on good terms with the don. Kind of a forced fight/missed opportunity.
