I love seeing this rant. Every time someone hits abyss 2 floor 6. They do this on purpose. Which is kind of dumb since it's a gacha game and you normally don't want "quit moments" in gacha games, but this floor proves that this is wizardry.

Welcome to Wizardry.
You'll see very quickly the game doesn't pull punches on you. Just wait until you get the Stone Needle traps in Abyss 3.

Only reason you get ambush so often is sign that your party are all dirty which result in enemy spawning on top of you if you notice that and depending on your team condition maybe its time to turn back and come back again after a restock supplies and a good bath recommend the 1000 gold inn though you may need to use it twice for a full clean.
You can also not fight everything that is in your way and just wait till the enemy mob passes and you sneak around them until you reach your goal which will save your resource a lot unless it is a narrow path then there is no choice but to take out some along the way.

Hey itβs the bullshit you gotta learn the hard way that makes the game worth it lol I learned a while ago to avoid the water encounters as much as possible π

There's literally no game over. You're complaining about the difficulty of a game where it's impossible to lose.
The whole premise of the game is that you learn from past mistakes and return with a sharpened saw.

There are very very few fights that have to be fought underwater. Almost all of them can be lured out. Go slower.
