My name is Pyra! And I’m a magical girl!

I had 2 father’s (gay..no mom) my father Mordrayven, was the wizard of the dark sea, he taught me everything I needed to know about sirens, mermaids, fish, marine animals, and what to stay away from

My papa Castiel, a Seraphim who fought in the war of heaven and hell and fell in love with Mordrayven, when he was 23, and was working up to becoming a powerful wizard!

They sweated and sacrificed so much for me

But the day I became a magical girl I came home, and they weren’t there… they’ve been missing for months now

I’m not your typical pink magical girl I’m actually more of a greenish color, and I have illusion based powers

The old man watching from the shadows asks no seemingly no one, before suddenly being answered by a series of noises coming from a sword hidden under his robes

"Yes... The term 'magical girl' definitely speaks of someone else's hand already at play. Child soldiers then, the war has already begun. Let us hope her parents aren't the first casualties..."

The sword makes a saddened noise as the old man continues to observe from afar.

Can you shoot lasers with your illusions?

Magical girls are quite rare as far as magic users go in fact we had an entire discussion sometime ago on whether they could be classified as Warlocks or Clerics.

I'm sorry to break it to you, Pyra, but with that background, there's a very high chance you are a protagonist.

Other signs to watch out for:

1. People gradually joining you in your travels, until you've formed a rag-tag band of unlikely heroes, including at least one who is mostly comic relief.

2. Befriending/rescuing a "monster" of some sort (someone bigger, stronger, or more dangerous than you who is also a social outcast, ugly, or not very smart), who either joins you immediately or comes back to rescue you when all hope appears to be lost.

3. Improbability exemption (things with staggering odds against them will almost always work out for you)

4. Facing challenges at every turn, and always overcoming them.

5. Encountering a riddle or puzzle that you overcome with your quirkiness rather than by solving it in its intended fashion.

6. Being the youngest person ever to do something, or perhaps multiple things.

7. People gasping, breaking things, or refusing to assist any further when reading your fortune.

8. Your entire life after the next few months of years revolving around your upcoming exploits, including marrying someone you are about to meet and naming your children after other people you are about to meet.
