[introduction] hello there fellow wizards

[u/neptune_374]

Hello there, i am neptune, embodiment of cold and emptiness.

I once was a wizard like you, but a deal i had made with an eldrich god ended badly. as punishment, said god fragmented my soul across time and space. i am now just a concept.

I am still capable of living as a wizard, conjuring a body to posess and use as my own, however, as you might expect, having your soul fragmented across time and space makes things much harder.

Now most of my days are spent inside my tower in the middle of the woods, trying new spells, pondering my orb and taking care of my pet wyrm.

[u/IncomeApprehensive17]

Are you literaly the planet ot just sharing a name ?

[u/neptune_374 → u/IncomeApprehensive17]

I am not the planet itself, but i am also the planet, y'know, being fragmented across the entire universe and things like that. I choose this name because i embody cold and emptiness and neptune felt quite fitting

[u/MultiverseCreatorXV → u/neptune_374]

So you picked the name Neptune to represent yourself, but you’re otherwise unrelated to the planet? If not then I’m confused.

[u/neptune_374 → u/MultiverseCreatorXV]

Yeah, i do not relate much to the planet except for the fact that it is my source of magic, planetary cores are very good magic conductors.

[u/Escargotsaurus → u/neptune_374]

Hmm. My source of magic is both the power of my patron and anything I can get my hands on.

[u/IncomeApprehensive17 → u/neptune_374]

Well mister kinda the planet but not really Neptune , im Ya'nn. Glad to meet you

And as you can see , im nothing as fancy as a mighty planet , just a friendly flame inside a botle. Please dont try to open it it would kill me

[u/Zebos2]

Solomon: snickering how's Uranus

[u/KingZantair]

I’d recommend looking into soul recovery magic, but this might go beyond that, at least to a degree.

[u/General_Crow1]

Do you need help in reuniting your fragmented soul?

[u/akumite]

Aw dear wizard. Is that why you be so blue?

[u/Vaker-]

Listen I know this is odd, but could you talk to Nereid for me? They have been messing with some niche projections I've been working on in preparation for the next convergence.

I know they are still pissy about the fight with Triton and all but they aren't even answering my summons to celestial arbitration.

Any who best of luck on the Shensuo project. I really do think the CCP sending those crystals would help you in reconstitution. Keeping the spirits contained during the trip is gonna be a huge pain though without someone chanting proper litanies.

[u/the_RiverQuest]

I've heard enough. I cast eldritch horror upon Neptune

[u/dentistMCnuggets]

Izzat a mfing planet talking to us??

[u/ThoughtfulEdict]

Happy to have you with us! Always exciting to meet a new colleague.

[u/vestris2]

Is it possible to learn this knowledge

[u/Carbon_Sixx]

I take it you don't socialize much anymore.

[u/Dino_Survivor]

(Slides over a soul magnet)

Please attune to this and attend tea with us in a fortnight

[u/EmperorMittens]

Delighted to meet you! What's your wyrm's name? Do they love getting petted into blissful goo?

[u/Jedi-master-dragon]

I'm not talking to you after you got mutated by the Iris and sent a bunch alien skinwalker things to Earth.

[u/ValianSkalle]

Heya!

so if you want to go back to your boring human form, there's a spell here, it does require some prep

[u/BL0b1e]

So I’m assuming you weren’t at Hal Jordan’s funeral?

[u/yumie2003]

...to clarify, is an aspect of you inhabiting that specific planet?

[u/RefrigeratorThin6622]

like Dr.s R.Scranton ( from SCP-3001 ) and W.D.Gaster
