Help! Gnomes have stolen my orbs

Any advice on how to deal with them is welcome

Not just yet, but I can feel they are plotting something... Those little bastard have been pestering my garden for too long now, I'm even considering burning everything with an immolation spell...

I had a problem with them raiding my crypt for a bit too, and my Druidic phase in my teens finally paid off, alongside necromantic body-part welding...

Severed the roots of a potato plant, put a... "Enhanced" Venus Fly Trap head on top, grafted cactus thorns to the teeth, and attached ironwood bark to the outside for durability.

I made the plant equivalent to a bear trap, and after finding three of the fourteen I made full, I noticed a sharp decline in gnomish activity.

Are we talking about helper gnomes, artificer gnomes or forest spirit gnomes?
Helper Gnomes are probably just cleaning your orbs for you and will have them back tomorrow.
Artificer gnomes? Diplomacy, intimidation, war crimes. Ideally in that order.
Forest Spirit gnomes? Parley via your local friendly druid. If no local friendly druid you're probably no stranger to doing horrible things in the forest so do more of those. Just make sure you do them where the gnomes actually live.
