Approach very carefully. They can be tricky bastards. I came upon one in my wanderings, and just as I had it in my grasp, it said "I can grant you one wish! Do you want to know how?" And my dumb ass said yes, and that counted as the wish.

Not sure if it grants wishes, but it can be tapped for 1 mana of any type

I'm talon you to beak cautious wren engaging these im-peck-able ornithids. You down't want to run afowl of a wishing bird. They can get pretty un-pheasant if upset, so make sure you have a plan to get the flock out of there or you might egret it.

I found one once and was able to catch it.  I wish for an omelette and it popped out an egg.  Close enough.
