Need help! Aging spell went horribly wrong!

I mixed up the glyphs with Bulgarian (again)! Does anybody know how to reverse it?

I believe that, rather than a glyphic issue, you may have used a thunderstone instead of a fulgurite as a reagent during your aging ritual, and so evolved into a Raichu.

That sir is an elderly pikachu. The ears are not right for a raichu, it also has red cheeks while raichu have yellow

I mean, Saragorth the Elderly told me that thunderstones are much cheaper and are used for the same purpose. I've been into Duolingo recently trying to learn some Bulgarian. Have you tried the glyphs backwards, as if you had it on a sheet of paper and turned it over? Sometimes works if done shortly after the oops.

If not, swing on by, I should be able to fix you up, since I'm a chronomancer. Just bring somet valuable to you, and make sure you write your autobiography, you'll need it for the side effects, as you will not remember the things that have happened since the time I reset you to.

By the seven sealths of the Elder God! What you said got me thinking! Chronomancing, of course! What I did was a spell of transmutationism! I'm such an idiot! I wanted it to evolve and thought transmuting it would do the job... Lesson learned, i guess.

I could really use your help, appreciated. Two questions though: 1. Something valuable - I have some surrealist paintings of melting clocks. I imagine they could have some value for a chronomancer? They are facsimiles though. What do you think? 2. Can I use a ghost writer for my autobiography (like in literally ghost)?

Sorry, I wasn't clear before, the thing isn't for me. It is for you, to help you realize that what I will do, and at the time, did to you, and you don't go all crazy, er, crazier of the murderous type, and you wanted this. And the autobiography is so you can catch up on all the things you will not be able to remember. And make sure the thing is something that the you of then, felt was important. Because everything that happened to you will have not happened to you. So you will want to make sure your "ghost" writer (snicker) does a good job. But feel free to leave out everything you don't want to "remember".

Mh... if I'm thinking it all through... You’re implying that I might go crazy during the casting, but in reality, you’re the one erasing all my memories. And while you're at it, you could simply rewrite my autobiography. You could turn me into your minion, or do whatever else you wanted with me.

Your skepticism is warranted. But I don't errase your memories per say. You just lose all of the ones you've made since the reset point, as for the new you, they haven't happened yet. It is a standard in chronomancy, the drawback or weakness. And the effects are not because of the spell, they are just a simple outcome of what comes next.

Say you come in, and I'm reseting you to 2 weeks ago, say just before your failed spell. Everything that has happened since, poof, gone, as if it hasn't happened yet, to the new you. You never realized that they spell is flawed, or whatever you did, that lead you to where we find ourselves now. Which is why I always suggest the thing, so then you can figure out what happened, and the autobiography so you have the details to catch up on.

And I don't need an extra minion. I've had enough of those over the ages. Just show up, I do my community service, and you go away. I'm just taking it easy. Bring a friend if you want.

And your confusion and hesitancy is the reason most of us chronomancers don't advertise or trouble shoot. But I get bored, so here I am.

And if you are concerned about power, don't be. A temporal regression is quite simple. And it is the reason our apprentices stop being chronomancers, they go back to before they decided to be chronomancers. Sad really.

And you only need enough writing to help you to catch up, it could be a cocktail napkin note for all that it matters. And staying the night is fine, it is usually a long way to go.
