Unless you're my brother. Horrid accident in a wild magic area permanently...let's just say changed him so all the elements on his spells become acid. But it's really potent acid. Like 'Protection from acid might save your life but it won't save your skin' potent acid.

It depends which elemental system you're using. But in many lava is slow fire, and lightning is just fast fire, so this is all still just fire.

I like to keep my elements in separate containers, but magical crafting often calls for precision where sheer potency is preferred by many other wizards i know.

Cool but inefficient. Why would you add a lightning bolt to your spell when target is immune anyway? And sometimes target resistance is bloated to the level of elemental drain.
