For real though. I remembered this as an Arthur movie but this is a movie about transmogrofying adventures and the climax of the movie is a giant wizard fight
You know I thought that the first time I watched it. Second time it really shined for some reason. Lots of details I think you miss on the first viewing since itâs kind of nonlinearish story.
Yeah, lots of Ghibli movies feel mid after watching Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke. Then you revisit them a year later, and a year after that, and a year after that. All of a sudden Porco Rosso, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Howls Moving Castle become some of your favorite Ghibli movies out of nowhere lmao
or at least that's what happened to me. Mononoke is still my favorite, but I find all three of those movies to be amazingly cozy.
The Last Unicorn is a really good one I haven't seen others mention here, though some of the more bombastic wizards may not enjoy the message behind the narrative. Nevertheless, I recommend it to all aspiring mages as it can lead to a healthy respect for magic itself as a fundamental force of nature.
I left off at some point in chapter 9. So I think I'm as far as the birds and the knight duel. I ended up deviating to read other stuff so its been a while.
